A haven of peace that includes a large private terrace and cosy, intimate courtyard perfect for those frequent Winter sun days. As well as private off road parking the property has full central heating in every room that includes one beautifully appointed double bedroom (extra bedrooms available if required) and a cosy nook with original features including fireplace, stone sink & seating area. This is ideal for relaxing and serves as a quiet, get away space for reading/researching, computer work using the Wi-Fi broadband or just chilling out. The bathroom enjoys a full bath and thermostatically controlled power shower, large sink in dresser unit and loo. The ground floor comprises living room with original fireplace, hi-fi system & English freeview TV /DVD & fully equipped large kitchen/dining room with wood burning stove in feature fireplace. Telephone use is available if required.

The location of Chez Kansei makes it an ideal base for travelling over the south west of France on your property searches. It also provides you with the assurance that after a long day house hunting, the cottage will be warm and dry for you to come back to and indulge in a cosy, relaxing evening. The cottage is fully centrally heated and thermostactically controlled so you can maintain a temperature comfortable for you.

An 8 min drive takes you to the postcard beautiful Little Venice of France, Brantome. Equidistant from the property, 30 minutes drive can either take you North to the stunningly beautiful old City of Angouleme or South to the Roman City of Perigueux with its imposing cathedral overlooking the river, wonderful shops and market.

Perigordine Region
There is a veritable feast of things to do in this part of the Perigord region in the Dordogne and a veritable plethora of estate agents to visit if you are on the property hunt. Brantome, Cognac, Angouleme, Limoges, Bordeaux, Bergerac, Perigueux and Sarlat-la-Caneda are just some of the famous and outstandingly interesting cities within easy drive of the property. There are of course also many other pretty towns and villages just waiting for you to explore.



This area is world famous for its food and wine and there are excellent restaurants to suit every pocket. Many vineyards will make you exceptionally welcome and of course obligatory wine tasting if you wish!

Lots of fun and sporty activities to keep you and the kids happy including castles, chateaux, museums and Abbeys as well as famous caves to visit and explore.
